A sideways glance from the slanted
banks on all us slanted people

The performance Entré - Sorti is an imaginative and playful performance that moves between the stage and real life. What is the secret of a character? How do we enter and exit different versions of ourselves? To not be oneself, but always within oneself? What does that mean? What does it mean for us in real life?

The performing artist can be the Dancer, the Violinist, the Singer, or the Actor. All these conveyors stand on a stage and meet their audience. On stage, they have tasks as professional practitioners, they create characters who can tell both their own and others' lives. Entrance, exit, and everything in between.
And finally, applause from the audience, the confirmation itself. This gallery of characters will tell and give a sideways glance from the slanted banks on all us slanted people. Perhaps trembling? Perhaps fearless? Pompous? Furious? Rational? Funny?

The performance is created in collaboration with the dance artist Indra Lorentzen. Tuva and Indra have worked together on several occasions. In January 2023, they had a performance at "Dans, Dans, Dans!",
the yearly Norwegian Folk Dance Festival at Riksscenen.
This work is the basis for the performance that will be shown at Folkelarm.

Tuva is known for her natural presence on stage and the ability to move an audience by simply being present. Her versatility with both instrument, voice, and dance allows her to stand out with a very unique expression.
